“A sharp, seductive 1960’s biker drama with stellar performances from Jodie Comer, Austin Butler and Tom Hardy.” Critic Wendy Ide, The Observer.

Director Jeff Nichols, who brought us the movies Mud, Midnight Special and Loving, now brings us this period crime drama, set in the 1960s and starring Jodie Comer, Austin Butler, Tom Hardy and the underrated, Michael Shannon.

After a chance encounter, Kathy (Jodie Comer) is drawn to Benny (Austin Butler), a member of the Midwestern motorcycle club, The Vandals. As the club transforms into a dangerous underworld of violence, Benny must choose between Kathy and his loyalty to the club.

The Bikeriders is inspired by the photo-book of the same name by Danny Lyon. Guardian film critic Peter Bradshaw calls The Bikeriders “A Potent ode to the violent lives of the 60s biker gangs.” The Independent Newspaper call it “A tough, tender American tragedy” and The Evening Standard says actress “Jodie Comer roars into this full-throttle drama.”
