The Holdovers is a comedy drama, which received critical acclaim and was nominated for Academy Awards, Golden Globes and BAFTA’s.

The Holdovers is set during the cold and snowy winter of 1970-1971. Actor Paul Giamatti plays a cranky history teacher at a New England boarding school, who is forced to chaperone a handful of students and remain on campus during the holiday season. He is joined by a grieving cook and a troubled student, who has been abandoned during the holiday season.
