For March LA Cinema presents a film screening of Spanish drama The Olive Tree, from the award winning director Iciar Bollain and the writer of I, Daniel Blake.
Alma is a 20-year old woman who has a profound connection with her grandfather, despite the fact he stopped talking to her years ago. But when he begins to refuse food, Alma decides that the only way to save her grandfather is to recover the two-thousand-year-old olive tree that the family uprooted and sold twelve years ago against his will.
