February’s offering is Pain and Glory, which critics hail as one of the stand out films of 2019 and is directed by the acclaimed Spanish filmmaker Pedro Almodovar.
Pain and Glory has been described by critics as a “Film with a meticulous eye as Almodovar revisits familiar grand themes of love, desire, death, forgiveness and reconciliation.”
Actor Antonio Banderas plays a film director who reflects on the choices he’s made in life as past and present come crashing down on him!

Pain and Glory is a 15 rated film in Spanish with English subtitles. The film co-stars Penelope Cruz and runs at 1 hour and 53 minutes duration.
The film screens on Saturday, February 15th at Long Ashton Community Centre, Keedwell Hill, Long Ashton, Bristol, BS41 9DP. The film showing starts at 19:45pm and includes popcorn (sweet and salted) for sale and drinks including coffee, tea, beers, wines and ciders. All tickets priced at £5.00.
