LA Cinema starts 2018 with a one-off screening of director Christopher Nolan’s Dunkirk. A depiction of the Dunkirk evacuation of World War 2 and featuring an ensemble cast including Kenneth Branagh, Cillian Murphy, Mark Rylance and Tom Hardy.
Allied soldiers from Belgium, the British Empire and France are surrounded by the German Army, and evacuated during a fierce battle in World War 2.
Described by the Daily Telegraph as “Heart-hammering and heroically British”, Nolan’s latest film has been heralded as his best and will no doubt win numerous film awards as its already been voted one of the ‘best’ films of 2017.

Screening Saturday, January 20th at 20:00pm at Long Ashton Community Hall – Keedwell Hill, Long Ashton, Bristol, BS41 9DP. Doors open to the public from 19:15pm. Admission £5.00. Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult (18 or over), or will not be allowed entry.
